Without any wishes or plans for the future, the third-grader of Tatar Fujita’s secondary schools wishes to find something that he can fulfill with all his heart. Initially, Tatara was subjected to expropriation and extortion for lack of self-confidence, but his life changed when he was saved from law-abiding criminals by a man named Kaname Sengoku. His lifeguard, a bike-dancing instructor, draws Tatara to Ogasawara Dance Studio, incorrectly believing that the boy was looking at the studio’s flyer. Tatara then in partnership with his classmate and experienced dancer Shizuku Hanaoka when he agrees to a trial lesson. The next day, after being mocked and helped out again, he asks the studio to train him to dance in the hope of changing his image. Entering a clear and rapidly developing new world, Tatara devotes his time to dancing as he combs the dance hall.
