I preffer a depressed MC with a solid background behind it way more than an arrogant retarded that usually are this kind of manga’s protagonists. This is a real properly written character, that may not be perfect, but is leagues ahead of basically almost every single Isekai main character, and I hope he doesnt become a prick when his depression and anxiety are gone.

It is good manga now so i tried reading Web Novel it is not good In future the mc will be same always patheic the reason her lover leave is bcoz there was rumor going around that he is cheating on her girlfriend and the rumor is spread by mc's best friend so she start avoiding mc and then mc pathetically misunderstood that she is leaving him bcoz of his abilities he didn't even try to talk to her and they end up breaking up without meeting each other and when all misunderstanding solved he just forgive his bestfriend who spread the rumor to steal his girlfriend (here we want him to blame them or do something , but this bitch forgives everone) And the girl she was also a fool she didn't even try to speak to mc and just assumed everthing and start hating him as a result ,and in the end when she confess mc again she get rejected by him became a side character To sum up all mc will not gain any major character development he will always be pushover. U can read the manga futher if u want your blood pressure to rise bcoz of frustration .

Nozomu did beat up Ken because he became paranoid and kidnapped Lisa by using some abyss magic (he even attacked a child by faking as Nozomu lol)
