Deon started, visibly taken aback by Kathia's request. He had expected her to ask for a grand country, yet here she was, asking to leave the palace in order to open a doll shop.
"A doll shop...?!" he repeated in disbelief.
His surprise was palpable, far greater than when she had asked for a kingdom before. Kathia, however, was too ecstatic about her wish being granted to notice. She looked at Deon, her eyes gleaming with anticipation, as if to urge him to ask further.
"What kind of dolls are you going to make?" he asked. Instantly, the young girl, destined to become the fairest of the empire, beamed with delight and exclaimed:
"The Princess' Dolls!"
