the reviews below say enough about the female lead, nothing more to add to that however, the cringe is concentrated in the first 20 or so chapters you have to go through that to get into the good stuff, later it becomes much more funny, remember, whichever manga has a cringe MC, has the potential for a lot of development and thus the potential to become a good character

This manga is the epitome of "is it worth it?" This guy does everything in his power to try and make shit work with the girl and she puts in the bare minimum of work in return. I don't want to say it's simping cause that word gets thrown around way too much and he tries really hard. Chapter after chapter I am going in my head, "bro is this girl even worth it at this point.?" To him she is, so its an interesting ride.
